Mrs Tanushree Podder

Mrs Tanushree worked in the corporate sector for eight long years before she quit the rat race to write. A management graduate, she has worn several hats both as an individual and an army wife. A well-known travel writer and novelist, she is passionate about traveling and writing. Climate change and the environment especially interests her. Tanushree wrote for major newspapers, such as The Times of India, Hindustan Times, Indian Express, and The Hindu, before writing books. She writes in various genres like military, historical, and crime for adults and young adults.

Dr Soumya Awasthi

Dr Soumya Awasthi is a Consultant at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change. Previously, she has worked with the Vivekananda International Foundation (VIF) and Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defense and Strategic Analysis (MPIDSA). She has also worked as a fellow at the Centre for Armed Forces Historical Research (CAFHR) at the United Service Institute, New Delhi and the Centre for United Nations Peacekeeping Organization (CUNPK), New Delhi. Her research interest includes Counter Terrorism, De-radicalization, South Asian strategic studies, Afghanistan, and India’s Defense and Strategic Policy. 

Mrs Modhumita Goswami

Mrs Modhumita Goswami is an Educator, Writer and a Poetess. She has authored many short stories and poems that have been published regularly in newspapers, magazines, anthologies and AWWA Journal, AVANI. An alumnus of St. Xavier’s College and Jadavpur University, Kolkata, she is a Master’s degree holder in Business Administration (HR) and Mass Communication. She has been nominated for “the Best Communicator Award” by The Telegraph, for her teaching and communication skills. A staunch supporter of welfare activities and AWWA initiatives, she has expertly managed her responsibilities as an Army wife, and a mother and lived her dreams as an educator and an author

Mrs Bhavna Ramakrishnan

Mrs Bhavna Ramakrishnan is an educator, and has been teaching English language and literature to senior secondary classes for the last twenty years. A graduate of Lucknow University, she has done B.Ed. and M.Phill in English Literature and holds a diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication. Teaching and writing are her forte and she strongly believes that the pen is mightier than the sword. She loves to read books with strong female protagonists and has incorporated the theme of women empowerment in her novels. 

Mrs Nandita Warrier

Mrs Nandita Warrier is an Executive Coach and Leadership Facilitator, deeply invested in the idea of growth. She has spent over two decades exploring what makes people reach their fullest potential. Her work spans across the globe through her contribution to organisations like the United Nations and others.  Guided by her motto – ‘Intensity without being intense’, Nandita loves to unpack complex issues simplistically. 

Mrs Charul Chaturvedi Jaitly

Mrs Shakunthala Ajit Bhandarkar

Mrs Shakunthala Ajit Bhandarkar is the Co-founder and Director, Metamorphes Foundation. She is a Masters  Degree holder in English, and is certified expert in ‘Nurturing Creativity and Excellence’ from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. She has three decades of experience as an educator, mentor and counselor. She has been honoured by various institutions for her contribution in the field of education and women empowerment. She has won various awards which includes the “Power Woman” of India on the women’s day at the Art of Living Centre, Bengaluru and felicitated on Mother’s day by Karnataka Book of Records, for all her contributions to the society.

Mrs Anamika Kundu

Mrs Anamika Kundu is an educationist, with nearly 30 years of  teaching experience. Her hobbies include reading, writing, gardening, listening to music, dabbling in sports like badminton, equestrian events and distance running. Being bitten by the travel bug she has always taken the opportunity to travel to various destinations across the world. Nurturing is her passion. She naturally takes her students under her wings as she does her best to bring out their best to the fore.

Mrs Suniti Kharbanda

Mrs Suniti Kharbanda is a B. Ed. as well as a Post Graduate in Business Administration and has also been a University gold medalist. She has been associated with the teaching profession for more than 30 years.  She is an ardent nature lover and trekker and also excels in Needle Paintings. Her articles have been regularly published in newspapers like The Tribune and Excelsior and magazines which include Woman’s Era and Army Publications. 

Mrs Ashwini R Sane

Mrs Ashwini R Sane is a writer of science fiction fantasy books with a dash of mythology. She is a professional ‘Mom’ who can tell a good story. She has a MA Sociology and is a double graduate in International Hospitality and Tourism from Austria. Having travelled with her father in Diplomatic Corps of India she has studied in different schools around the world. She was a visiting faculty in management courses for post graduate students in India.

Mrs Arti Bal

Mrs Arti Bal is an author and illustrator know for captivating story telling and stunning art work. She has authored and illustrated books like “ Ms Caterpillar’s The Apple” and “Ms Caterpillar’s The Banana”. In 2022, she started creating these books which are completely hand written, hand painted and has been printed as it is without any modification. Each book contains  baking recipes, limericks, stories and information around a single fruit as the theme. Her book was displayed at the world book fair in February 2023 at New Delhi.

Mrs Jyotsna Atre

Mrs Jyotsna Atre has a master’s degree in Communication and has over 20 years’ experience as an e-learning developer. She has been a writer ever since she can remember. Between writing a skit when she was nine and publishing her latest book – ‘The Jungle Book of Rhymes’, Jyotsna’s ink has flowed freely. She has been a journalist, a poet, and has written short stories. She especially enjoys writing for children and is currently working on an adventure series for the Army Brats. 

Mrs Anjali Patwardhan

After completing graduation in Commerce from Rajasthan University, Mrs Anjali Patwardhan pursued a diploma in travel and tourism. She worked in the tourism industry for a couple of years and moved towards her calling of working with small children for which she did her NTT and a PG Diploma in Pre-Primary Teacher’s Training from Symbiosis Pune. Pre Covid, she volunteered with Special Needs children at Asha Kiran in Pune. Presently she is pursuing a Diploma in School Counselling from Symbiosis.

Mrs Indu Tomar

Mrs Indu Tomar is a lawyer, poetess, published author, motivational speaker, social worker,and an entrepreneur. While in the legal profession, she realised that people need emotional balance in their lives which would ameliorate their basic problems and lead them to live a happy and healthy life. As a professional Reiki Grandmaster and Karuna Reiki master, she steered herself to work on emotional health under her project named “Fine Balance“  She motivates youth  through her YouTube Channel “सोच: The Voice”  and numerous offline motivational talks, awareness campaigns and counselling sessions. In 2021, she was awarded for being one of the 51 most influential women of Rajasthan by Brijbhoomi foundation.

Mrs Tanushi Singh

Mrs Tanushi Singh is a Civil Engineer, a building design consultant and a full time school teacher. Apart from being an army wife, she is a poet and a blogger. Tanushi asserts that poetry has helped her evolve into a better version of herself. Words give her the outlet and freedom to grow without losing self while living through life’s various roles. Her poetry is based on her own life and through her poetry she believes she has been able to heal and wishes to spread the message of hope, peace and giving back to life. Her cathartic process with poetry began in 2016 after her daughter was born and she took a break from her professional career. What started out as a hobby is now an integral part of her life .

Mrs Vandana Yadav

Mrs Vandana Yadav is a Hindi language writer, motivational speaker and social worker. Alongwith novels like ‘Kitne Morche’ and ‘Shuddhi’, she has also written a travelogue, published poetry collections, contributed in children’s literature among many other literary pursuits. Urdu Dost Foundation translated her poetry collection titled ‘Kaun Aaeyga’ in 2010.She has also published short stories like ‘Curfew’ and ‘Middle Man’ in literary magazines and regularly writes for leading newspaper, Jansatta alongwith publications like Purwai, addressing issues ranging from women’s rights and self improvement to mental health and preservation of heritage.

Dr Krishnalata Singh

Mrs Krishnalata Singh has done her MA and PHD from Lucknow university, she has 28 years of teaching experience. Her article, stories and  poems have been published in various literary magazines and newspapers. She has published six books so far and two are under publication. She has worked for the development of Hindi Language at a Global level while participating in various events in Mauritius, Paris, Switzerland, Singapore and Malaysia. She has been awarded “हिन्दी  गौरव सम्मान ” and  “महादेवी सम्मान ” .

Mrs Vartika Sharma Lekhak

Mrs Vartika Sharma Lekhak is a published author who enjoys writing on social issues, travel tales and short stories. She is an alumnus of JNU. She is also associated as a Social Worker with the Saheli Karyakarta Sangh, a registered NGO headquartered at Budhwar Peth, Pune working for the empowerment of Sex Worker community. Her writings can be found on various print and web media like The Hindu, Kitaab.Org, Feminism in India and Women’s Web. She is author of the book -Bra Strap, and contributing author of When Women Speak Up, The Take Off, and A Human Voice. Her Writing has won  many awards including the Orange Flower-2023 in the category of Writing with Social Impact.

Mrs Ambreen Zaidi

Mrs Ambreen Zaidi, is a noted columnist and an author. As a columnist, she writes fearlessly in the leading national and international publications on the issues which need immediate attention. As a journalist, she has won accolades and several awards for her groundwork related to forgotten heroes of Indian armed forces & the victims of Bhopal Gas Tragedy in leading newspapers like Times of India, Hindustan Times and Dainik Bhaskar. She has been at the helm of affairs of the world’s first blog magazine, Blogger’s Park. On 21st August 2023, she was awarded by the Honourable President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, for her work. Ambreen is on a mission to help the families of our soldiers killed in action and those who have been disabled while serving the nation.

Capt Sajita Nair (Retd)

Capt Sajita Nair (Retd)  is an Air Force daughter, an army Captain herself and a Naval wife, she has experienced all facets of fauji life. Post her army tenure, she was an HR professional before she took up writing and mentoring. She has spoken at various forums including TEDx, literary festivals, corporate events and educational institutions. Apart from reading and writing, she enjoys the outdoors and nature. 

Mrs Nuzhat Khan

Mrs Nuzhat Khan is a writer, poet, and a songwriter. Her first book is a Young-Adult Romantic Fiction- Bird in the Open Cage. She is fond of writing Shayaris and Poems and actively posts them on her social media handles. Her shayari- ‘Doorie’, has been turned into a beautiful song.

Mrs Vibha Gurtu

Mrs Vibha Gurtu is a practitioner and facilitator of Shamanism, and an intuitive healer. With over 20 years of experience, she is trained in reiki, pranic healing, hypnotherapy, tarot card reading and others, she founded Aumtara, a spiritual hub, in New Delhi. Vibha is a soul coach, spiritual guide, talk therapist and an image consultant. She uses her learning and experience to create inner and outer
balance. She has conducted numerous workshops on image makeover, relationships and empowerment at individual and corporate levels.

Mrs Shikha Akhilesh Saxena
